FAQs

Why can’t I pay now?

As all orders are unique, it is best for us to check your order before payment; including the supplied artwork and courier details. Any large orders, such as heavy pads, may require an additional courier cost, depending on your location.

It also allows us to give a design estimate if requested.

If all is in order, we’ll invoice you the exact amount as checkout. You can still pay securely with credit card or you can pay with bank deposit.

How long will my order take?

Every job is different. Some jobs can be produced same day while some may take over a week to complete. Let us know when you need your job completed and we’ll let you know if it can be done. We go to great lengths to meet even your most demanding timelines.

Do you take urgent jobs?

In most cases, yes. Call us to see what we can do to help.

Is what I see on my computer the same as what the printed piece will look like?

No, colours can change because of the calibrations and the fact that monitors have additive light as opposed to subtractive. If your colour is critical for your finished piece it is always best to ask for a hardcopy proof so you can see how it will look when it comes off the press.

Will I always receive the exact quantity I ordered?

Most of the time, we ship you slightly more than you ordered, free of charge. On occasion, we ship slightly fewer pieces than you ordered. Printing industry trade standards allow for underages of up to 5%. If you plan to send your print order to a mailing list or need a guaranteed quantity, we recommend that you order 5% over the minimum quantity you need.

Do you use AI?

We don’t use AI. Our design work is all done by a human – each job is considered and unique. Although AI can be a fast way to create something, creating Print Ready artwork can be technical and best left to the experts.

What file format do you need?

PDF is our preferred file format. Most document/graphic creation software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Corel, Google Suite) will output to PDF. The benefit to using PDF is that once created the content won’t change, you can be sure that the placement and fonts will stay the same, unless you ask for it to be changed.

We can also accept many other types of files including Microsoft Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, Excel, jpg, png, eps, Adobe Illustrator (ai), Photoshop (psd), Indesign with markup file(indd+idml) and Corel Draw (crd).

Can you print my Canva files?

Yes, we can print your Canva files, although they may need to be made print ready depending which settings it was exported with (download settings in Canva). The correct settings may not be available if you are on a free plan.

Canva is regularly being updated and changed – if you aren’t sure if your file is suitable for print, send it to us and we’ll be able to tell you immediately, and give you an estimate if it needs to be fixed, it’s usually a small correction fee.
